The “Do You Have Any Questions for Us?” Test

This is not small talk—it’s a test of curiosity and interest.

✅ Ask thoughtful questions that show engagement.

Example questions to ask:

  • “How do you measure success in this role?”

  • “What does collaboration look like on this team?”

  • “What’s one challenge this team is working to solve right now?”

  • “What are your expectations from this position"?”

Example closer line:
“Thank you—I really appreciate your insights. This role sounds like a great fit, and I’d be excited to contribute.”
